At ten o’clock we began our day, and because Andretti Indoor Karting & Games Orlando is just a half-drive hour from our house, we decided to take advantage of our day off and check out the attraction that everyone in Orlando has been talking about.

Kiana and I opted to tackle the Sky Rail Rope Course, a 10-minute activity that seems scary from the ground but turned out to be a lot of fun. We climbed the steps, fastened our harnesses, and found ourselves 20 feet in the air with no idea what to do next. Naturally, we started at the beginning and took a course on basic skills. Our journey from one rope to the next was fraught with new obstacles at every turn. The zip line was the crowning glory of our Sky Rail Rope experience. Kiana made an excellent landing, but I did not. It was a thrilling and enjoyable experience that I hope to repeat in the future. (Members pay $9.95 and non-members pay $11.95 for a 10-minute ropes course session.) We were given a head sock and a helmet and given a 10-minute safety and track regulations briefing while our host prepared us. We prioritize your safety here at Andretti! Following the safety briefing, we climbed into our go-karts and were ready to race. Experience speeds of up to 35 miles per hour on the world’s longest two-story indoor go-kart course with Orlando Indoor Go Kart. The race, which lasted for about 7 minutes, was thrilling, exhilarating, and competitive. The whole thing was fantastic, and the many levels of difficulty added a nice twist.
Tip: On this side of the building you may use the free lockers to store your items. While you’re having fun playing all the activities, you can safely store your belongings in a locker and get them back at the end of the day.

- We entered the two-story laser tag arena and prepared our gear. The fight started right away, and our competitive natures took control. Everyone had a great time yelling, laughing, and tagging one another. We were completely wiped out after the 15-minute ordeal. Following our exhilarating round of laser tag, we headed inside the arcade for some more fast-paced fun. Kiana plays the basketball challenge, while Karina enjoys playing Mario Kart, Candy Crush, and Doodle Jump. We had a great time playing air hockey, Galago, Ms. Pac-Man, and Skee-Ball, among other arcade games. Games may be played at Andretti in Orlando for a chance to win one of several fun prizes. We had a great time playing the whole time since the music and the animations were so thrilling. The professional-level racing simulators are housed on the building’s left side. Andretti’s racing simulators use cutting-edge VR technology to give users a taste of what it’s like to be a professional race car driver without actually putting them behind the wheel. The virtual world with its vehicles and courses and the screen behind the driver gave the experience a real-life sensation. Our youngest child, who opted out of Orlando Go Karts Indoor, nonetheless had a fantastic day. The cost to try out the simulator for the first time is $10.95 for members and $12.95 for non-members for a 6-minute session. - Bowling
We then made our way to the stunning bowling alley that was nearby. After putting on our bowling shoes and socks, we were prepared to begin our outing, but not before ordering some beverages and snacks from Andretti’s Grill. We had a great time since the game was exciting, difficult, and enjoyable. The bowling alley is stunning. There are 12 lanes illuminated by black lights, 4 colossal screens, plush couches, and illuminated tables.
My advice: If you forget your socks, don’t stress. At Andretti, you can get fresh new ones if you like. Bowling specials are available during rush hours, so don’t miss out! Bowling for under $5 an hour per person and free shoe rental! Times are 4 pm-7 pm EST, Monday-Friday.
