How Can You Learn English Fast?

Learning English is fun. Every concept of the English language can be learned while having fun. Participating in activities, quizzes, listening games, etc makes learning English interesting and fun. All we need to do is understand the concepts in our own creative way and focus on a few points to learn this language. So, learning English fast is not impossible and you can do it if you take the right approach and focus on the following ways.

Develop a Reading Habit

Learning English includes practicing correct and proper pronunciation. Your pronunciation and reading skills will be refined when you develop a reading habit. You can read a book, magazine, newspaper, or even subtitles of any English movie or web series. So, to learn English fast, read anything you want for at least 15 minutes once a day.

Enhance Your Vocabulary

You must have heard that having a good vocabulary is always a plus. It’s absolutely true. Understanding the meaning and use of different English words will help you become a skilled communicator and orator and to become that you don’t have to learn every word of the English language; just learn a few words every day that you find relevant and can be commonly used in a conversation. Always keep a notebook or digital notepad with you so that whenever you learn a new word you can write it down with its meaning and example. This will save you a lot of time as when you revise, you won’t have to ask yourself, “What does this word mean?” This way you’ll have fun while you learn.

Talk to People in English as Much as You Can

How can a language be considered a language if you can’t communicate through it! Although communication can be done non-verbally, it is important that we understand that one-on-one communication makes it easy for us to understand what the speaker wants to convey. Speaking the English language will help you learn the concepts and memorize them at your fingertips which is absolutely better than just reading and writing English.

I have heard several people say, “I understand English, but I can’t speak this language.” A lot of learners who struggle with speaking English find speaking English really hard. They become so underconfident and hesitant that they completely stop practising Spoken English. Don’t behave like this. Talk to people who speak English fluently. If there’s no one around you who speaks English, opt for an online Spoken English course; take classes and practise Spoken English. This will help you to a great extent to be fluent in English.

Be Curious and Ask Questions

When you start learning English, you’ll have many doubts and a lot of questions to ask. Never stop yourself from asking a question. Be curious and get your doubts cleared because that will help you become a fluent English speaker. This is extremely easy to do when you enrol yourself in a Spoken English course rather than learn English on your own. However, if you’re learning on your own, you can refer to some English blogs, websites, forums etc, but it will take you a lot of time to learn and speak English.

Subscribe to Spoken English YouTube Channels

In this era, everyone has access to the internet. Make great use of this facility. Subscribe to a youtube channel that teaches you Spoken English, such as TS Madaan. You can learn about many concepts of English grammar. For example, tenses, verbs, conjunctions, modals etc. The best part is that you can watch the video any time of the day and as per your convenience, but for practice, you should give time to yourself, at least 15 minutes a day.

Watch and Listen to The Native English Speaker Artists

You can make your learning fun by listening to the songs of a native English speaker or watching movies of a native English-speaking actor. You’ll be surprised, but you can learn a lot of new words, slang, idioms, and phrases from these movies and songs. For better practice, you can watch some of the interviews of these artists.

Never Be Disappointed in Yourself

Every journey has its ups and downs; your journey of learning English will have its ups and downs too. Never say to yourself that you cannot learn or speak English. Never use the phrases like, “I’ll never understand this.”, “This is not my cup of tea.” or “I will never be fluent in English.” etc. No! don’t demotivate yourself. Instead of demotivating yourself, be motivated and say, “I am learning English and I’m enjoying it.”, “Learning English is not too easy, but I am making progress every day.”, “It seems quite difficult at the moment, but I’m sure it’ll be easy tomorrow.”

Conclusion

In the end, I would like to say that learning English is fun and easy to understand if we have focus and the motivation to learn and speak this language. If you need to opt for a Spoken English course, do that. Don’t delay, it’s your time. Make the most of it.
